Course Description: This course explores the six pillars that must be considered when designing and selecting sustainable flooring. The course reviews flooring through the environmental and social lens of sustainability, and explains how the six pillars relate to the health and well-being of building occupants. Key attributes of sustainable flooring will be discussed along with the intent and requirements of LEED v4, WELL v1 and Building Codes.
