EXPERIENCE
Must have experience working as an Architectural Design professional in the contract market.  Must have extensive experience in using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite software.
 
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Must be able to work independently and in a team setting. Must deal appropriately with clients and third parties on the phone and in person; multi-task, prioritize work; display professional manner; exhibit tact and diplomacy.
 
REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrate attention to details and ability to manage time over multiple projects. Must be able to sit at desk for extended periods of time; must be able to drive, meet with clients, stand and walk thru client work sites, must be able to lift small parcels of supplies of no more than 10 pounds; must be able to walk outside, which may include stairs; must be able to have full use of wrists, hands and fingers for extensive periods of time. Fine motor skills are essential to this position.  Ability to work attentively at computer, maintaining focus and concentration.

The Proposal Manager supports the business development and marketing efforts of the firm. The primary focus of the role is on writing and producing proposals, and managing the assets needed for this task. Studio MEJA is a growing architecture firm in Providence, Rhode Island. Over the past five years we have developed a portfolio of urban rehabilitation of mixed-use buildings in downtown Providence, community building projects (restaurants, schools & churches) as well as office fit-outs for some great companies. Position Description:
We are looking to add someone around the Job-Captain to Project Manager level, who would work with the Principal and other Project Managers to develop a set of projects from start to finish. You would handle as much of the client communication, engineer coordination, technical research and overall project design as you have the ability for. But don’t worry, you’d have support from our project management staff, and your peers.


Experience:
You will likely need between 3 to 8 years of experience for this job to be an appropriate challenge. We really want someone that likes figuring out how to get projects built, and make sure the final product meets our exacting design standards. We are also naturally interested in your degree(s), internship, exams passed, licensure, presentations, exhibitions and work experience, so please do detail these. You should be great at AutoCAD, and we prefer experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup and BIM software.

Qualifications:
