Lily is an architectural designer at Vision 3 Architects. Previously, she worked with CIVIC on educational planning, exploring new models for 21st-century learning in K-12 schools. Originally from Guilin, China, Lily immigrated to the U.S. in 2002 and grew up in Rehoboth, MA. She received a Bachelor of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where she also concentrated in Nature, Culture, and Sustainability Studies. While at RISD, Lily co-led her chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS), advocating for increased access to professional opportunities, enhancing the academic experience, and amplifying the voices of underrepresented designers.
Passionate about improving the educational pipeline into the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) fields, Lily volunteers with the ACE Mentor Program of Rhode Island. As a member of the Board of Directors, she focuses on outreach and membership engagement, with an interest in developing resources for emerging professionals.
