10th Annual Jane’s Walk Global Weekend Festival Ten Citizen-Led Neighborhood Tours Planned in Providence

Thu May 5, 2016 at 4:00 am - Sat May 7, 2016 at 12:00 am

Gain a new perspective on neighborhoods around the city during Jane’s Walk, a global weekend festival inspired by urban activist Jane Jacobs on May 6-8. Eleven walks are already planned in Providence throughout the weekend, starting from different locations at staggered times. http://janeswalk.org/united-states/providence/ Unlike typical guided tours, these FREE citizen-led walks encourage community conversations to get people thinking, talking, and connecting with each other. Anyone can participate! Wear comfortable shoes, meet your tour leader in the designated meeting spot, and get ready for a lively discussion!
