COURSE DESCRIPTION
This presentation is intended to provide participants with an overview of the building envelope and an understanding of the most common building envelope problems. In addition to an overview of problems, solutions will be addressed for a variety of categories, including maintenance, restoration, roofing, metal, plaza decks and air barriers.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
1. Participants will understand the fundamental goals of a building as well as what a building envelope includes
2. Learn the most common building envelope problems
3. Participants will be able to identify problems/failures in building envelope systems through photographs
4. Solutions will be addressed for a variety of categories, including maintenance, restoration, roofing, metal, plaza decks and air barriers
