Ian Buckley is a Senior Architectural Project Coordinator at JBD JGA Design and Architecture in Pawtucket, RI. He has over 10 years of experience in the architecture industry, contributing to diverse projects, primarily in the residential and hospitality sectors.

Currently, Ian Buckley specializes in the hospitality sector, focusing on large-scale luxury country club renovation and new construction projects. Some notable projects include Essex Fells Country Club, Spring Brook Country Club, Mountain Ridge Country Club, and River Bend Golf & Country Club.

Ian Buckley earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the Boston Architectural College, where he also dedicated several years to tutoring aspiring architects. Throughout his academic journey, Ian was committed to advancing his professional career, gaining hands-on experience at esteemed firms such as Anderson Porter Design (Boston, MA), Amity Construction and Design (Old Lyme, CT), and Haycon Construction (Boston, MA). This blend of education and practical experience gave him a well-rounded foundation in design and construction.

Ian Buckley served in AIAS during his tenure at the Boston Architectural College and on the 2024 AIAri Honors & Awards Committee. As a director, Ian hopes to be a voice for young architects across Rhode Island.

Ian Buckley resides in Smithfield, RI where he has a house with his girlfriend Emily, dog Henry (Corgi), and cat Nesta (Norwegian Forest Cat). Outside of work and family life, Ian Buckley is an avid golfer and you can likely find him on the course any given Sunday.
