AIAri and RIDE: School Building Authority Showcase
Designing the Future of Rhode Island – May 21, 2026
The Rhode Island School Building Authority recently welcomed visitors to the SBA Project Showcase in the lobby of the Shepard Building at 255 Westminster Street in Providence, on May 21, 2026. The exhibit highlighted a variety of school construction projects—including new schools, additions, and major renovations—that are transforming learning environments for students across the state.
The showcase demonstrated Rhode Island’s historic commitment to public education through two $250 million statewide bonds approved by voters. Attendees explored project boards and architectural models while learning about the planning and design of Comprehensive High Schools and PK-8 schools. The projects on display reflected a significant investment in Rhode Island’s communities, students, and future.
