Join AIA Rhode Island on November 12, 2026, at The Towers in Narragansett for an evening celebrating architectural excellence, creativity, and achievement.
AIA Rhode Island is proud to present the 2026 Honor & Design Awards, an annual celebration recognizing outstanding architectural design and the individuals, firms, and project teams helping shape Rhode Island’s built environment.
The Honor & Design Awards Program reflects AIAri’s ongoing commitment to advancing excellence in architecture and recognizing the important role thoughtful design plays in our communities. From innovative approaches to design challenges to projects that enhance the places where we live, work, and gather, the program celebrates the creativity, collaboration, and dedication that define the architectural profession.
Recognizing Excellence and Innovation
Each year, the Design Awards Program highlights the exceptional work of Rhode Island architects and recognizes the collaborative efforts that bring outstanding projects to life. Beyond celebrating architectural achievement, the awards honor the clients, consultants, and project teams whose shared vision and commitment contribute to the success of each project.
The program also offers an opportunity to reflect on architecture’s impact throughout Rhode Island and how thoughtful design can strengthen communities, inspire innovation, and contribute to a more vibrant built environment.
An Evening of Celebration at The Towers
This year’s celebration will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at The Towers in Narragansett, one of Rhode Island’s most recognizable architectural landmarks.
The evening will bring together architects, designers, industry professionals, and supporters of the architectural community to recognize this year’s achievements, celebrate professional excellence, and connect with colleagues from across the state.
