Course description: Moisture management is essentialto protecting building occupants as well as the building from excessive moisture accumulation. Building materials that are prolonged to damp conditions that can lead to mold, bacteria growth as well as corrosion of steel and failure of adhesives. Masonary flashing systems that are well designed and properly installed are an integral part of an overall moisture management strategy that will help protect the building and its occupants.
