About AIAri Architectural Forum
The AIA Rhode Island Architectural Forum is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that was established by AIA Rhode Island (a Chapter of the American Institute of Architects) to support educational programs within the architectural community.
The Forum’s primary vehicle for supporting architectural education is our Scholarship program. The Forum awards multiple scholarships to qualified financial aid eligible students studying architecture. Funding for architectural scholarships is provided by proceeds from AIA Rhode Island’s annual golf outing. In addition to the AIA Rhode Island Scholarship program, thanks to the generous support of the family of Norton E. Salk, AIA, we are pleased to also offer the Norton E. Salk Scholarship for Design Excellence.
To date, the Architectural Forum has awarded over $149,000 in scholarships funded by AIA Rhode Island’s endowment with the RI Foundation and other donations from AIA National and the family of Norton E. Salk, AIA.
AIA Rhode Island’s Golf Classic donates all proceeds to the scholarship fund. Learn more about this year’s tournament here.
