Online registration and entry fees must be submitted by Friday, July 25.
The sole judging criterion is design excellence. The jury is empowered to determine the extent to which design excellence is informed by aesthetic, functional, contextual, sustainability, social or other characteristics. The jury may honor projects by building type or other categories, or may elect to make no such distinctions.
Eligibility: Any structure or building or project type (including rehabilitation, interior architecture, and monuments) located anywhere in
the world and designed by a New England architect or architecture firm; and/or any structure or building or project type built in New
England by any architecture firm anywhere in the world is eligible. Projects must have been completed after January 1, 2007. Projects
that have received AIANE design awards in past years and work by the design professionals serving as jurors this year, or by their
firms, are not eligible.
Design Awards Submissions are due by 5:00pm on Friday, August 15. All submissions will be via electronic upload.
Entry fees
The non-refundable fee for the first submission is $175 for AIANE members; $275 for all others. The fee for each additional submission by the same architect or firm is $100 for AIANE members and $165 for all others. The People’s Choice Awards is $25 per entry.
