Paradise Avenue is a mile long, ending at a popular surfing beach. It’s a picturesque but busy road, lined with old stone walls and generously spaced houses set well back from the street.
The client was a young man who wanted a retreat from his city apartment, a place to weekend with friends and to reconnect with the outdoors. Program spaces on the 1st floor included a large living, dining and kitchen area flowing to an outdoor terrace, entry, TV room, and screen porch. 2nd floor spaces included two guest bedrooms and a separate master bedroom suite with access to a tower work space.
