Eric Schall, AIA

Young Architect Director (2021-2022)

Eric Schall is currently a Project Manager with ZDS and a Rhode Island resident. Before joining ZDS, Eric lived in New Jersey and worked at Rice + Brown Architects, focusing on high end residential and beach front properties. After moving to Rhode Island, he took a role at LLB Architects in Pawtucket during school and after graduation for a couple years, to work on higher education, dormitories, and public sports complexes.

In his role with ZDS, Eric contributes to the firm’s growth, works on projects at all phases and mentors staff on documentation and technology. Leading the technology and programs at his office, he teaches Revit classes and coordinates upgrades with lessons. Eric has been a key part of the firm’s success as part of the firm development team. He works on a variety of adaptive reuse and tax credit rehabilitation, with some winning multiple awards. Eric is passionate about the firm’s hospitality and commercial projects and work in both ZDS’ Providence and DC office.

Outside of work, Eric lives to ski in the winter and beach in the summer. Growing up he participated and taught karate for over 12 years, which he earned his third degree black belt. Eric is eager to get more involved in his local and architectural community. After completing his final ARE in August 2019, Eric hopes to be the bridge between licensure candidates and architects.
