Course Description:  The State of Rhode Island has adopted updated energy efficiency codes for commercial new construction, renovations, and repairs.  https://ribcc.ri.gov/  This training will include critical information regarding significant energy code changes, new provisions, and related best practices. This commercial event will be led by instructors with years of experience in construction and code assistance. Follow-up technical assistance regarding energy code compliance issues will be available to attendees.

Learning Objectives:

• Changes in the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) will be reviewed with regard to commercial building envelope, mechanical, and electrical provisions. https://www.energycodes.gov/status/states/rhode-island
• Commercial compliance options will be discussed for both Prescriptive and Performance alternatives.
• Free Circuit Rider Program – Follow-up technical assistance regarding energy code compliance issues will be available to attendees.
