Course Description:
This seminar is for designers and builders who would like to be more knowledgeable about typical and not-so-typical structural masonry applications – especially when talking to a structural engineer. In a general sense, you will learn current structural masonry design methods and be able to understand how engineers think about masonry. If you desire to use thin wall profiles or produce economical masonry designs for your next project, then this is a good seminar for you. At minimum we will teach you how to spot a masonry project that is over-designed or masonry that is under-utilized.
