Members make AIA Rhode Island function; through committees, events take shape and the organization achieves its mission.

About Chapter Committees
AIA Rhode Island’s committees bring together Architects, Licensure Candidates, Aspiring Architects, Student Affiliates, and Allied Members interested in the built environment of Rhode Island. AIA Rhode Island focuses on aligning our Chapter with like-minded individuals and groups to expand further the network of working professionals in the Rhode Island design community.
Becoming involved at the committee level is an excellent way to enhance your career, make new contacts, and gain more insight into the profession of architecture. AIA Rhode Island always welcomes new collaborations and new volunteers.
Committees generally work on a broad set of goals and tasks each year. Each committee page identifies the charges they are currently working on. Read about all the committee charges in one place here (pdf).
