Providence City Center is hosting the Green RI Sustainable Product Showcase this April. We are o ffering an opportunity for companies who produce sustainable, earth-friendly building materials to draw attention to their products. Attendees will be able to explore the tradeshow floor and learn about sustainable products from various vendors.
CEU Presentation – limited to 30 attendees
Amy Costello, Sustainability Manager at Armstrong and past-vice chair of the USGBC MR Technical Advisory Committee, will also be presenting a CEU on Material Changes in LEED v4. This CEU is approved for AIA, IDCEC and USGBC credit.
Materials Recycling Collection
Don’t forget to bring your old materials and samples! The Architectural + Interior Design Material Recycling Collection to benefit Resources Recycling for RI Education will be occurring
throughout the evening.
Types of materials accepted: Resources Recycling for RI Education (RI) are 501 ©3 registered non-profit organization and their mission is to stimulate creative learning and help children awaken their creative potential and play through the use of reusable, recycled and surplus material. They offer low-cost and no-cost materials for education, the arts and creative people.
Samples accepted: colorful small / glass tiles, solid surfaces and acrylic samples, marmoleum samples, laminate sample rings, fabric, paint chips / books, paper / wall covering samples, wood samples, linoleum samples, rubber samples, bamboo samples
Sample Collection: Please re-use paper boxes to collect samples. Up to 6 boxes per A&D firm, max of 50lbs. All samples are collected at the Green RI registration table from 4:30-6:30pm.
